Free Equipment Loan for Our Patients
At Vet Rehab NI, we understand that recovering from surgery or managing the challenges of ageing can sometimes be made easier with the right equipment. That’s why we offer a selection of items for temporary loan at no cost to our clients.
Much of this equipment has been kindly donated by the families of patients who have crossed the rainbow bridge — a truly generous way to help another dog in need. We’re grateful for their thoughtfulness, which allows us to support more dogs during their recovery or in their golden years.

Dog Ramps
Our ramps make car entry and exit safer and easier for recovering or older dogs.
Dog Prams
Our prams give dogs the chance to continue enjoying the outdoors while they heal or tire easily.
Dog Crates
A secure, comfortable space for rest and recovery at home.
Car Seats, Raised Bowls, Reusable Nappies & Belly Bands
Dog Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs can help dogs with mobility challenges stay active and enjoy life.
We have wheelchairs available as part of our free loan scheme to provide short-term support for dogs recovering from surgery or managing mobility issues.
➡ For dogs who need a bespoke, custom-fitted wheelchair, we also offer a tailored service. This is not part of the free loan scheme and will involve an additional cost. To learn more, please enquire with Clare, our Practice Manager.
How It Works
Our equipment loans are designed as short-term support during post-surgery recovery or to ease mobility challenges in old age. Items are lent free of charge, and we’ll guide you on how best to use them safely and comfortably for your dog.

Donating Equipment
If your beloved dog has sadly crossed the Rainbow Bridge, or you have equipment you no longer need, you may wish to donate it to help another dog on its journey.
Your kindness enables us to continue providing free equipment loans to families who require additional support. Every donation makes a real difference in helping another dog feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
